The company’s fully automatic BZM-I is a vertical cutting machine that embeds a space-saving model to trim, prepare, cut to length and divide blocks. BSM, a horizontal splitting machine processes medium-hardness materials to sheets. Its roll compression machine ROK helps compress and pack foam rolls for storage and transport. MDK-2, the company’s edge-rounding machine, cuts edges with a height between 70 and 200 millimetres precisely.

Baumer also provides a broad range of software solutions developed specifically for the foam industry like Quick Select for order picking and WinCAP for creating cutting programs. The company’s SOPHIE is the first intelligent and self-learning MES designed for the foam industry. It enables fully digitalized foam production, leading to sustainable production and process optimizations. SOPHIE interconnects the entire foam production process, collects machine, plant data and renders it transparent for rapid use, increasing productivity and making companies more competitive.
