Sustainable Growth: Efficiency Must Follow Economics

As Global Business Development Director for Baltimore Aircoil Company, I look for opportunities where improvements in efficiency can also fulfill sustainability goals and support best practices. That focus has naturally expanded my view beyond individual projects to the larger market forces shaping where sustainable industrial growth can happen.

This approach has helped me identify regions where policy support, including tax credits, can de-risk investment and create competitive local supply.

That global lens helps me avoid chasing hype cycles. Instead, I focus on sustainable growth where the economics actually stack up long term. The battery industry moves fast, so understanding geopolitical risks has become just as important as understanding technical specifications.

Balancing commercial targets with long-term partnerships, for me, comes down to being honest about timelines. I push for aggressive growth internally, but I also set realistic expectations with partners. No one wins when delivery dates or technology readiness are overpromised.

In this industry, trust compounds over years, so I often choose slightly slower revenue today if it creates deeper collaboration tomorrow.

Technical credibility opens doors that pure sales skills never will. And always track global policy—it moves faster than technology these days
