Collaborating with a metallurgist in Hi-Life Tools helped identify different coatings that could improve the die life.

The new process was tested with different clients to replicate the results and reaffirm its achievement. The client witnessed significant improvement in die life during the initial trials. Similar results were observed at other locations. PTG is now in the process of launching these improvements in order to offer the benefit to all of its clients in the automotive and industrial markets.

Determined to set new industry benchmarks, PTG aims to deliver defect-free products. They are currently working a capital project with qualified vendors to enhance in-house inspection systems and metrology equipment as part of this initiative.
