Amir Bousani, Co-Founder and CEOCurrently operating in stealth mode, R-Go Robotics is pioneering a disruptive artificial perception technology that enables mobile robots to understand complex surroundings and operate autonomously just like humans. “Our vision is to enable machines to see and understand their surrounding so they can become intelligent enough to be truly autonomous. R-Go Robotics was founded in 2018 by a team of world-leading experts in artificial intelligence (AI), sensor fusion, and computer vision to deliver on this promise,” says Amir Bousani, Co-Founder and CEO.
R-Go Robotics is changing the game with its Perception EngineTM comprised of patent-pending computer vision and AI technology. It runs on ultra-low-cost, low-power hardware and delivers a complete intelligent autonomy solution for any mobile robot manufacturer. Perception Engine creates human-level perception capabilities, enabling mobile robots to operate with a much higher level of intelligence–both indoors and out. It determines the precise position on a rich, user-friendly map, recognizes obstacles, and understands its local context.

From consumer to commercial applications, all the way to industrial-grade applications, we are unlocking new applications and use cases that need high levels of perception,” says Secor. R-Go Robotics’
As an ideal solution for environments where machines and people operate in close proximity, R-Go Robotics takes intelligent navigation and safety to the next level. In addition to sensing and mapping its location, the system can recognize an approaching forklift, for example, and determine an optimized path to avoid a collision while still efficiently moving towards its destination. And as the system continues to navigate an area, it continuously ‘learns’ in order to improve its navigation capabilities and to constantly update the map. Peter Secor, SVP Marketing and Business Development, emphasizes that the human-level perception and intelligence is the biggest added value of the company’s offering. “From consumer to commercial applications, all the way to industrial-grade applications, we are unlocking new applications and use cases that need high levels of perception,” says Secor. R-Go Robotics’ solution can bolster any wheeled robot with intelligent autonomy, including warehouse and manufacturing mobile robots, construction vehicles, robotic lawnmowers, delivery robots, and more.
Today, R-Go Robotics is engaged with some of the world’s leading brands aiming to bring innovative new autonomous robots across existing and new use cases. The first products powered by R-Go Robotics’ technology are set to be launched in the market later this year. Looking ahead, the team aims to scale up and establish its offering into new robotic markets and applications. “We are enabling our customers to take their product to a much broader market by unlocking use cases that were blocked for them due to the lack of autonomy,” states Bousani.
