Reliability has become just as important as airflow. In many industrial facilities, fans are expected to operate through long shifts with very little attention, so unexpected downtime can quickly affect both worker comfort and day-to-day operations. That is driving greater interest in features such as direct-drive motors, improved controls and simpler mechanical designs that reduce maintenance demands.
The next phase of competition will likely favor manufacturers that combine airflow engineering with application support. A strong fan alone is no longer enough. Customers want measurable comfort gains, lower energy burden and clear installation guidance.
